In the fourth episode of “Jazz on the Bay” on KCSM, Melanie  savours the sound of live jazz on the streets of San Francisco and Oakland. featuring three renowned Bay Area saxophonists:- the late Oakland jazz icon Vince Wallace who has played a pivotal role in jazz in the Bay Area Jazz scene, jazz soloist and educator Jim Grantham and saxlady Lisa Pollard who has thrilled and delighted audiences around the world, and in this programme is featured as bandleader of the legendary Green Street Marching Band, a unique and much loved sound of the San Francisco Chinatown tradition that has continued for over a century.
