SUMMARY:B-EAU KARINE SAPORTA
DESCRIPTION:Kasa-Les Maisons Karine Saporte \nB-EAU\nKARINE SAPORTA \nWORLD CREATION\nMILLENNIUM OF CAEN \nSUNDAY\, JUNE 29 – 10:45 AM :\n” Medieval Reminiscences ” ( B-EAU\, PART 1) – 2 PM: “Aquatic Reminiscences” (B-EAU\, PART 2) – 4 PM: “Nuptial Reminiscences” (B-EAU\, PART 3) Port of Ouistreham Place Général de Gaulle \nINFORMATION & RESERVATIONS\nTel: 06 43 45 66 84 – 06 64 20 19 71\nkasa@karinesaporta.com \nTHE PROJECT\nIn keeping with the content and innovative spirit of the Caen Millennium \, the event will take place as part of the third highlight of the festivities: the Maritime Weekend (from June 27 to 29) . It will celebrate the relationship between Normandy and Ireland in the Middle Ages. \nThe overall aesthetic of the project will therefore be under Irish cultural influence and will refer to the story of the king of the province of Leinster Dermot MacMurrough who came to Normandy to seek help from the king of England Henry II\, Count of Anjou and Maine\, Duke of Normandy and Aquitaine. The music and dances will revisit this legendary culture in a resolutely contemporary way . \nIn perfect correspondence with the spirit of the Millennium\, it will integrate professional artists and members of voluntary associations. \nThe framework of the B-EAU show\nThe show is part of the projects labeled for the Millennium of Caen\, and it is part of one of the highlights of this event\, namely the maritime weekend\, from June 27 to 29\, 2025\, where 48 ships will go up the canal from Caen to Ouistreham . \nKarine Saporta’s show is constructed like a fresco on medieval history\, water\, boats\, and on the imagination suggested by these aquatic movements. The title of the show reveals this orientation\, but in an allegorical way. \nThe performances\nThe event will take place on Sunday\, June 29 at the port of Ouistreham Riva-Bella \, Place du Général de Gaulle . Corresponding to the times of passage of the boats\, the three different shows will take place: \n– At 10:45 AM\, for ” Medieval Reminiscences” (B-EAU\, PART 1)\n– At 2 PM\, for “Aquatic Reminiscences” (B-EAU\, PART 2)\n– At 4 PM\, for “Bridal Reminiscences” (B-EAU\, PART 3) \nPerformers and Participants\nThe show will be performed by professional dancers from KASA les Maisons Karine Saporta \, but also by amateur groups who have been working for months in theater and dance workshops to participate in the event. Note that under the direction of Karine Saporta’s costume designer\, amateurs and volunteers actively participated in the creation of the headdresses and costumes essential to the magnificence and successof the show. The music is a creation of Patrick Clancy \, and will be partly sung live by the Irish artist Mélanie O’Reilly. \nPort de Ouistreham\nPlace Général de Gaulle\, Ouistreham Normandy.\nhttps://mailchi.mp/karinesaporta.com/29-juin-beau-creation-mondiale-karine-saporta-millenaire-caen
