The multi-Grammy Award winner broke new ground as a member of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers\, and later joined Miles Davis’ second great quintet\, and cofounded the jazz fusion band Weather Report. Wayne shared his extraordinary life story and career talking about his inspirations and memorable recordings. (Originally broadcast on RTE Radio 1\, Ireland’s National Broadcasting station\, this program was part of this series which won the Irish National Radio Award).
